This introductory business course will provide a no-nonsense overview of how to succeed in the rapidly changing cooperative agricultural sector. In addition to exploring new technologies and digital platforms, the course will also cover data collection, data analysis, and data use for forecasting in the cooperative agricultural sector, providing valuable insights and tools for farmers looking to transform the way they grow and distribute food.

Whether you’re thinking about putting your farm on the internet through a website or social media, upgrading your existing digital platform, launching a digital project with other farmers in a cooperative network, or creating a platform for Farm to Table services, this course will cover all of these topics.

What Will You Get Out of This Mini-Course?

• By the end of the course, you will be able to identify your specific needs in this space, which will allow you to determine the next steps that are needed to further improve your skills and knowledge in this area. You will then be able to decide which mini-courses you should take next.
• We will provide you with the video recording and transcript of the mini-course.
• By covering a wide range of topics and offering insights and best practices from experienced practitioners, this course will provide you with practical introductory knowledge that you can apply to your own agricultural operations and digital projects.
• You will receive a certificate.

Full Scholarships

The standard course fee is $150. Full scholarships are being offered to Historically Underserved Farmers, Ranchers, Cooperators, Cooperative Developers, and those working in adjacent/related sectors based in the United States. NCBA CLUSA is partnering with ICDE through the Strengthening the Cooperative Ecosystem Program and scholarship opportunities are being provided through resources from the USDA-NIFA.

We encourage individuals or groups who have encountered barriers to accessing resources and opportunities, typically as a result of social, economic, or cultural factors, and who have experienced discrimination or systemic disadvantages to apply.

Se ofrecen becas completas a agricultores, ganaderos, cooperadores, desarrolladores de cooperativas históricamente desatendidos y aquellos que trabajan en sectores adyacentes/relacionados con sede en los Estados Unidos. NCBA CLUSA se asocia con ICDE a través del Programa de Fortalecimiento del Ecosistema Cooperativo y se brindan oportunidades de becas a través de recursos de USDA-NIFA.
