Victor Barcellos is a communications researcher and professional based in Brazil. PhD candidate in Communications and Culture at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Master of Science in Information Science from the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (IBICT). Bachelor in Social Communication with a major in Public Relations from the University of São Paulo (USP). Senior researcher of the Media Team at Institute for Technology and Society (ITS Rio). Develops research in the areas of Communication and Information Science, working mainly on the following topics: platform capitalism, platform cooperativism, creative economy and digital commons.
