Bio

Vangelis Papadimitropoulos holds a Ph.D. in the political philosophy of Cornelius Castoriadis from the University of Crete and serves as a postdoctoral researcher at Panteion University of Athens, Department of Economic and Regional Development. As Principal Investigator of the research program “Techno-Social Innovation in the Collaborative Economy,” funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (H.F.R.I.) from 2022 to 2024, he explores the impact of open-source technologies and digital commons on collaborative economies. His research spans political philosophy, political theory, political economy, technology studies, and sustainability, focusing on the interplay between the political theory of the commons and cooperative economic models. Papadimitropoulos presents at conferences and contributes extensively to peer-reviewed journals.
