Thorben Wieditz is an urban geographer and activist-scholar currently working for UNITE HERE Local 75 in Toronto. He is the lead of the Fairbnb.ca campaign, a housing focused coalition that brings together groups and organizations with an interest in protecting Canada’s rental housing market from being undermined by online platforms like Airbnb.
