Bio
Siddhi Gupta is a designer, educator, and researcher working at the intersection of equity-centered design, digital storytelling, education, and artificial intelligence. She is Design Director and Field Lead at the Inclusive AI Lab and an Assistant Professor at Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Bengaluru.
Her work has included developing digital-rights campaigns with women gig workers, co-designing more representative datasets for creative AI, and conducting ethnographic research on education technologies. She is also a PhD researcher at Utrecht University, where she examines creativity and AI, particularly how craft pedagogy and situated forms of knowledge can challenge dominant ideas of creativity in intelligent systems. Her writing has appeared in Amsterdam University Press, Teacher Plus, and Learning, Media and Technology. (she/her)
