Bio
Selin Yıldız is an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture at Yıldız Technical University, where she has taught since 2005. She earned her BA, MA, and PhD at the same institution, completing her dissertation on universal design principles in tourism facilities in Istanbul, which received the “Doctoral Thesis Encouragement Award” in 2014. Her research spans tourism, accessibility, universal design, and architectural sketching, and she has published widely in national and international journals. Yıldız teaches both core and elective courses, including project design, sketching techniques, free painting, and watercolor. She also leads graduate seminars on “Sketching in Architectural Design Thinking” and has served as a journal referee since 2015.
