Bio
Salonie Muralidhara Hiriyur works as senior coordinator at SEWA Cooperative Federation and is a fellow at the Institute for the Cooperative Digital Economy (ICDE, The New School). Salonie has been working on developing ways to ensure the viability and sustainability of informal women workers and their cooperatives. She is also working on issues of meaningful digital inclusion, including through platform cooperatives.
In the past, Salonie has worked in the research department of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) in Geneva. She graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a degree in gender and development.
