Bio
Sadhana Sanjay is Research and Policy Engagement Lead at IT for Change, a Bengaluru-based organization in special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Trained in law, she holds a master’s degree in International Law and Development from Leiden University. Her research focuses on the digital economy, labor and worker well-being, algorithmic management, the political economy of data, Big Tech regulation, and digital trade. She works closely with regional and global coalitions and contributes to national, regional, and multilateral policy processes. Her broader interests include the governance of the digital economy and the role of community- and people-led alternatives in building a more just and inclusive digital future while challenging corporate concentration in digital spaces.
