Bio
Renjini Rajagopalan is a human rights lawyer and policy researcher working at the intersection of gender, welfare, law, labor, and artificial intelligence. She began her career as a LAMP Fellow, serving as a legislative aide to Members of the Indian Parliament, and has since worked with government agencies, legislators, international organizations, and nonprofits. As a 2026–27 FemFirst Research Observatory Fellow, she examines indigenous data sovereignty and the protection of community digital commons from extractive data practices.
She is also a 2026–27 Reshaping Work Fellow, researching the legal and regulatory implications of AI for marginalized workers, including gig and platform workers, migrants, women, and data annotators. She holds an LL.B. from NUALS and an LL.M. in International Human Rights from the London School of Economics. (she/her)
