Mike is a co-founder and the business manager at Farm Generations Cooperative, the co-op behind GrownBy, a farmer-owned e-commerce marketplace. GrownBy is an affordable, scalable app that helps farmers manage and improve their direct-to-consumer sales. GrownBy is the only e-commerce platform that offers farmers access to SNAP Online payment—an example of our platform’s vision of helping farmers to build the strength and resiliency of their local food systems.
In addition to his role at Farm Generations, Mike owns and operates a grassfed beef cattle farm in Cooperstown, NY. He previously served in farm technical assistance positions at the National Young Farmers Coalition and the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources.
