Bio
Max Haiven is Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair in the Radical Imagination at Lakehead University, where he teaches in English, Social Justice Studies, and Media Studies and directs the ReImagining Value Action Lab. His writing, teaching, games, podcasts, and workshops explore radical imagination, anti-capitalism, social movements, art, financialization, and the politics of value. His books include Palm Oil: The Grease of Empire, Revenge Capitalism, and Art after Money, Money after Art. He led the Worker as Futurist Project, which produced The World After Amazon, and edits VAGABONDS, a Pluto Press series of short radical books. His forthcoming work includes The Player and the Played.
