Lin Mengwei comes to the conference from the Association of Taiwan Food Banks and the Taiwan Food Bank Federation.

The Taiwan Food Bank Federation began by providing supplies and services to disadvantaged groups. They gradually discovered that the Taiwanese people did not only have problems with inadequate food and nutrition, but also food waste.

Today, the Federation not only promotes “No waste, no hunger,” but also coordinates an effort in the Taiwanese community to share food surpluses with the hungry. the Federation believes that sharing is not only a material practice, but a practice of love and care for others and the environment.
