Iryandi Masputra pursues a professional doctorate in business and is the founder of Aqsa Farm, a cooperative strengthening local food systems in Indonesia. His work bridges platform cooperativism, digital governance, and sustainable agriculture. Masputra advances community resilience, integrating ethical technology and grassroots education through participatory ownership models.

He pioneered experimental urban maggot and quail farming initiatives before expanding his work to include duck and chicken farming and horse riding activities. All of this forms part of a broader effort to build integrated, community-centered food infrastructure and to explore regenerative, low-cost, community-based food production.

Masputra’s research centers on cooperative digital infrastructure and decentralized coordination systems in emerging economies, while also examining institutional design for long-term food sovereignty. As part of his 2026/2027 ICDE Fellowship, he will examine how cooperative governance can be embedded in the Aqsafarmer AI system.
