uang Sun-Quan is currently Director and Visiting Professor at the Institute of Network Society at the China Academy of Art. He was Founder and Editor-in-Chief of POTS Weekly (1994~2014), the most influential alternative cultural weekly in Taiwan. As a young organizer, he spearheaded the “Anti-Green Bulldozer Movement” in Taipei City in 1997 and the documentary he produced, the “Green Bulldozer: The Rise of Your New Homeland”, was featured in biennales and festivals in over 20 Asian cities. In 2004, he launched the influential blog platform twblog.net and founded the Taiwan Independent Media Center, an affiliate of the Global Independent Media Center. In the past few years, he has engaged in the development of Co-art Co-operative (CACO), an artists’ co-op in Taiwan, while curating a series of art hackathons in China and Taiwan.
