Bio

Hoyeon Lee is a Ph.D. student in Public and Urban Policy at the New School (TNS). He is interested in labor policy, comparative labor, and inequality. He received his M.A. in Public Administration at Yonsei University, and won the best article in the labor and welfare field in 2018 in South Korea. Before coming to TNS, he was a policy aide of the Korean Democratic Labor Party, organizing the Korean ‘Occupy Wall street’ and the fight for $10. Currently, he is a representative member of the SENS-UAW at TNS.
