Bio

Gianmarco Cristofari is assistant professor at Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City, where he teaches ‘Law and Politics of Artificial Intelligence’. His research focuses on platform studies, state platformization, world system theory, and the relationships between digital infrastructures and public utilities. Before completing his Phd in Political Science, Gianmarco worked as a data protection lawyer in Rome; has been an Emile Noel Fellow at the New York University; visiting researcher at the Institute of Information Law (Amsterdam) and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Palermo.
