Evan Henshaw-Plath was the first employee and lead developer at Odeo, the company which created Twitter. He helped create the Indymedia.org tech collective. Evan has also been involved in other tech activism projects since the 90’s. In addition, Evan was an architect of Yahoo! Brickhouse’s innovation team and CTO of the lean product consultancy Neo.com. Currently, Evan is an independent consultant and research affiliate at The Center for Civic Media at the MIT Media Lab.
