Damion Jonathan Bunders serves as an Assistant Professor in the Governance of Urban Digitalization at Universiteit Utrecht. He brings to this role a rich background in sociology and human geography, along with experience in departments of social and economic history and business administration, showcasing his dedication to interdisciplinary approaches. His doctoral research within the Sustainable Cooperation program delved into the organizational challenges faced by gig workers in platform cooperatives. Currently, Bunders is doing research on bottom-up strategies to improve working conditions of another type of digital worker: content creators on social media.
