Arthur Guichoux holds a Ph.D. in sociology from Université Paris-Cité and is currently a Marie Sklodowska Curie Action Postdoctoral Fellow at Université de Liège, Belgium. His research project, titled Utopcycle, explores platform cooperativism in the bike delivery sector, focusing on the socio-political dynamics of “counter-uberization” within cooperatives. He employs ethnographic methods to study platforms like Mensakas, Les Coursiers Rennais, and Rayon9, analyzing their impact on the reintegration of the bike delivery market during a ‘cycle logistical revolution’. Arthur’s professional journey also includes roles as a bike courier, press intern, and coach, enhancing his understanding of the intersections of labor, technology, and social movements.
