Bio
Artem Zhiganov is a product strategist working at the intersection of AI, governance, and deliberative democracy. Originally from Moscow, he has a decade of experience in product innovation and user research. He earned an MSc in Innovation Management from the University of Manchester, where his thesis examined governance in platform cooperatives and decentralized autonomous organizations. Artem has overseen self-governance at Protein Community and was a research fellow at Newspeak House, London’s “college of political technology.” Since 2023, he has been developing Harmonica, a tool for collective sensemaking, while contributing to Metagov’s Interoperable Deliberative Tools program. His research explores how AI agents can augment, rather than replace, human facilitators in scaling deliberative processes.
