Amanda Claro is Project Director at Código Não Binário and a CNPq-funded PhD student in Organization Studies at FGV EAESP. Her work links strategic litigation for platform regulation with the design of community-centered tools to curb online hate speech, especially against LGBTQIA+ people. She leads a civil action against Big Tech in Brazil and collaborates with the development of an AI powered social listening tool generating evidence for collective redress. Amanda founded Código Não Binário and the Feminist Network of Jurists (Defemde), and advises nonprofits on feminist organizing. Her doctoral research advances decolonial approaches to feminist organizing, and she co-hosts the queer podcast Entre Amigues; she identifies as a cis bisexual woman.
