Bio

Alexandre Costa Barbosa is a specialist advisor for the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br), focusing on platform regulation, educational platforms, internet and democracy, digital inclusion, and digital competency. He is an engineer with a Master’s degree in Sustainable Territorial Development from Sorbonne Paris 1 and has previously worked as a senior innovation researcher at the Institute for Technology and Society of Rio de Janeiro. Alexandre is a member of the Nucleum of Technology at the Homeless Movement (MTST) and is currently working as a Research Fellow at Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society in Berlin, Germany.
