Bio
Agita Pasaribu is a lawyer and AI ethics advocate working at the intersection of technology, gender justice, and online safety. She founded Bullyid App – NMA Foundation, a technology nonprofit providing confidential psychological and legal support to people affected by online harassment and technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV). Her advocacy contributed to efforts to strengthen protections against non-consensual intimate images in Indonesia’s 2022 Sexual Violence Law.
Through Bullyid, her work has reached more than two million people in Indonesia and has been recognized by the UNFPA TFGBV Safety Showcase. Pasaribu has contributed to G20 and G7 initiatives on digital safety and served on the steering committee supporting UNESCO’s Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence. (she/her)
