Rungniran Khamphitoon is a founding member of Thai Therapy Spa at Home and a practitioner specializing in therapeutic massage. Before entering the profession, she spent twenty years in the textile industry and was an active union member. Inspired by her late father’s service as a traditional massage therapist, she undertook professional training to follow his path. Established in 2023, Thai Therapy Spa at Home is a worker-led social enterprise providing home-based massage services in Bangkok. It distributes work among members, supports mutual aid and skills development, and is developing a collective welfare fund to strengthen therapists’ livelihoods and working conditions.
