Bio
Pradipa P. Rasidi is a digital anthropologist and software developer whose work focuses on digital culture, disinformation, game studies, and postcolonial technology in Southeast Asia. He has worked across academia, government, technology startups, and civil society. In 2026, he was a co-recipient of a Pulitzer Center AI Reporting Grant for a project examining the affective labor of Indonesian game streamers.
His research has appeared in HAU: Journal of Ethnographic Theory, Communication, Culture & Critique, ISEAS Perspectives, and Tactical Tech, and has been covered by outlets including The Guardian, Reuters, Kompas, The Straits Times, and Channel NewsAsia. He also develops digital tools, data visualizations, games, and web applications. His latest project, Taksa, translates contemporary disinformation research into a narrative simulation game. (he/him)
