Nunu Pradya Lestari is a gender and digital economy researcher at Sahita Institute in Jakarta, Indonesia. Her work focuses on gender, women workers, artificial intelligence, and the gig economy, with particular attention to how algorithmic systems shape wages and working conditions for platform workers in Indonesia. She has written on the changing conditions of Indonesian gig workers in the context of AI and brings a longer-standing engagement with labor and women workers to her research. Earlier in her career, she contributed to the feminist media outlet Konde.co and was active in national labor networks. She studied at the Institut Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (IISIP) Jakarta. Her current work seeks to advance feminist approaches to AI governance in South and Southeast Asia. (she/her)
