Bio
Ntasha Bhardwaj is a criminologist working at the intersection of gender, climate, technology, and justice in South Asia. She holds a PhD in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University and is the founder of the South Asian Institute of Crime and Justice Studies. She is leading the development of b, an AI-enabled climate-risk intelligence platform that combines climate, socioeconomic, and community-generated data to support timely, locally grounded decision-making. Her work examines how technology, data, and systems of power shape whose knowledge is produced, whose risks become visible, and whose voices inform decisions. Her scholarship has appeared in Feminist Criminology, the Journal of Research in Crime and Delinquency, and the European Journal of Criminology. (she/her)
