Madelynn Martiniere is a researcher, facilitator, and systems designer whose work focuses on collective innovation, community ownership, and democratic approaches to emerging technologies. Over nearly two decades, she has worked across four continents to design innovation ecosystems that enable communities, organizations, and institutions to build resilient, participatory forms of governance and collaboration. As Director of Catalyst Studios, she advises organizations on systems design, participatory governance, and cooperative innovation. While her work is not based within a formal cooperative, it is closely aligned with cooperative values through its emphasis on community ownership, data sovereignty, and decentralized digital infrastructures. Bridging grassroots practice and institutional change, she advances practical models for shared power, open collaboration, and regenerative futures.
