Bio
Keno is an AI practitioner and researcher with a special interest in how AI is impacting humans and the social fabric. He holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Oxford, where he studied how people make decisions under risk and uncertainty. He then joined an early stage startup to build diagnostic and therapeutic tools, which have supported well over 800,000 patients and are among the first AI tools to be certified as medical devices. In 2025, Keno joined the UK’s AI Security Institute as research engineer and engineering lead and has worked on research spanning psychological safety of AI, AI adoption, and research automation. He is attending the conference in a personal capacity.
