Japleen Pasricha is the founder of Feminism in India (FII), India’s largest intersectional feminist digital media and research platform. She led India’s first national survey on technology-facilitated gender-based violence for Freedom House in 2016, with findings later cited in a report by the UN Special Rapporteur on violence against women. Her decade-long #DigitalHifazat campaign has trained more than 1,000 activists and young people in digital safety across South Asia. Her work focuses on platform accountability, feminist internet governance, and the political economy of AI harms, examining who controls digital infrastructure and who bears its costs. She has presented at the UN Human Rights Council, RightsCon, the UN Commission on the Status of Women, and the Internet Governance Forum. (she/her)
