Himanshu Panday is a digital anthropologist at Dignity in Difference, where his work explores the intersection of artificial intelligence, care, justice, and lived experience. His research examines how digital technologies can amplify violence, polarization, and algorithmic bias, while investigating alternative approaches that center compassion and the experiences of communities most affected by technological systems. His work asks how AI research and design might change if those most harmed by technology had a greater role in shaping its future. Through this approach, he seeks to reorient computational research toward more participatory, equitable, and human-centered forms of technology development. (he/him)
