Bio

Gunn Jiravuttipong is a Research Fellow at the Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI), Thailand’s leading public-policy think tank, and recently completed his J.S.D. at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where his dissertation examined the global diffusion of digital competition regulation. His work examines how digital competition and platform regulations across Southeast Asia and the Global South, spanning competition law, data governance, and the political economy of digital infrastructure with articles forthcoming in the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment & Technology Law and the University of Pennsylvania Journal of International Law, among others. Based in Bangkok, he writes regularly on digital regulation in ASEAN and beyond, bringing a Global South perspective to debates on public-interest technology governance.
