Bronwen Morgan is Professor of Law in the Faculty of Law & Justice at the University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney) and a leading scholar of regulation, governance, and socio-legal studies. Her research explores how legal institutions can support democratic, cooperative, and sustainable forms of economic organization. She is the author and editor of numerous influential books on regulation, public services, and social citizenship, including An Introduction to Law and Regulation and Water on Tap. Morgan is also a co-founder of the New Economy Network Australia (NENA) and a Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia. Her recent work examines platform cooperatives, the solidarity economy, and legal pathways toward regenerative and democratic futures.
