Bio
Aditi Pillai is a Research and Policy Engagement Associate at IT for Change, a non-governmental organization working at the intersection of digital technologies, social justice, and human rights from a Global South perspective. She holds a Masters degree in Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Ethics from the University of Edinburgh, and her research focuses on AI safety and governance, data justice, platform accountability, and the digital rights of young people and other vulnerable groups. Her ongoing work at IT for Change explores how feminist approaches can be meaningfully centered in AI development, governance, research and policy discourse across Asia and the broader Global South.
