Suroto, an Indonesian co-op activist, serves as the Chairman of the National Association of Socio-Economic Strategic Cadres (AKSES), a socio-economic think tank organization. Additionally, Suroto is the CEO of the National Federation of People-Based Cooperative Enterprise (INKUR Federation). Through his roles, he actively contributes to the development of cooperative initiatives and the advancement of economic democracy. Suroto’s dedication and expertise have earned him recognition within the cooperative community. He has made valuable contributions to the field, leveraging his position to shape policies and practices that foster socio-economic progress in Indonesia. Suroto has been publishing in popular national journals and newspapers such as PRISMA and KOMPAS.
