Sakshi Khurana is a seasoned researcher with a 14-year track record in labor, employment, gender, and skill development. Holding a PhD in Sociology with a focus on women & informal labor from the Delhi School of Economics, she’s been a key player at NITI Aayog’s Skill Development, Labour & Employment Vertical since 2016. Sakshi’s past roles include a stint at V.V. Giri National Labour Institute’s Centre for Gender & Labour and a PhD Fellowship at the Institute of Economic Growth, Delhi University. Her body of work, featuring both national and international publications, spans women’s employment, gender dynamics in labor, youth employment, skill enhancement, and rural livelihood promotion.
