Bio
Malavika Rajkumar is a Project Associate at IT for Change. Rajkumar works on the intersections of social media governance, digital justice, and the law. Her main areas of research include platform accountability, social media regulatory governance, women’s rights, gender-based violence, and information design. She has participated in multiple speaking engagements, including the Internet Governance Forum 2022 in Ethiopia, the Asia Pacific Digital Rights Forum, RightsCon 2022, and more. Previously, she was a Research Fellow at Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, Delhi, and the Content Lead for its legal tech initiative Nyaaya. She is a graduate of Symbiosis International University and holds a B.B.A.LLB degree. Additionally, she regularly contributes articles to publications such as the Indian Express, Citizen Matters, Live Law, and Firstpost.
