This session provides international participants with a deeper understanding of the cooperative movement in Kenya, focusing on both its historical background and the current initiatives of the Cooperative University of Kenya (CUK). The session will feature an introduction from Sifa Chiyoge, Regional Director of ICA Africa, alongside contributions from former and current CUK students and faculty. A special focus will be placed on integrating youth perspectives, highlighting their role and engagement in the future of cooperatives in Kenya. Moderated by Jared Matabi and Francis Mwongela Mikwa.
