Bio
Niccolò Cuppini is a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI). His research began with the history of political thought on urbanization and has expanded to focus on logistics, digital platforms, and the intersections of cities, labor, and citizenship. He has participated in international projects across Europe, Africa, the Americas, and Asia, and is a member of research groups including LUCI (Labour, Urbanscapes, and Citizenship – SUPSI), Science & Politics, and Into the Black Box. His recent publications include Urban Automation (2025), “Platforms in the City” (Economic and Labour Relations Review, 2024), and Metropoli planetaria 4.0 Beta Testing (Meltemi, 2023).
