Burçin Başaran is an academic at Namık Kemal University in Tekirdağ, Türkiye, where she serves in the Department of Agricultural Economics. Her research focuses on agricultural economics, rural development, and organic farming. She has published studies on production costs in cherry and cotton farming, as well as broader issues facing agriculture in the Thrace region. In addition, her work explores nutrition and lifestyle patterns among university students, highlighting the intersection of agriculture, health, and society. Alongside her research, Başaran contributes to undergraduate teaching and serves as an academic advisor to students in her department, supporting both their academic development and professional orientation.
