Bio
Giuseppe Guerini is President of CECOP–CICOPA Europe, representing worker and social cooperatives across the continent. Based in Italy, he also serves as President of Confcooperative Bergamo and Vice President of the Fondazione della Comunità Bergamasca. Guerini was previously President of Federsolidarietà–Confcooperative, the Italian federation of social cooperatives, and led the social cooperative Ecosviluppo, focused on labor market inclusion through environmental services. Since 2010, he has been a member of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), contributing to initiatives supporting the social economy and social business. His work bridges local, national, and EU levels, advancing cooperative models and inclusive employment strategies across diverse contexts.
