Bio

Louis is a researcher and consultant in cooperative development and innovation. He draws his expertise from a diverse professional background, including management of international projects on cooperative innovation, implementation of international cooperation program for sustainable development, and co-founding a cooperative business. His current activities are both academic and entrepreneurial. As a PhD student at Laval University (Quebec, Canada), he specializes in digital transformation of cooperative ecosystems, involving cooperative associations, cooperative platforms, and “traditional” primary cooperatives. As a cooperative entrepreneur at Startin’blox (Paris, France), he participates in the development of open-source technology enabling decentralized collaboration among cooperatives. The project entails data standardization (through Solid standards), interoperability, modularity and peer-to-peer exchange of data.
