Bio
Chiara Chiappa is a labor consultant specializing in cooperatives, social enterprises, show business enterprises, and self-managing platform cooperatives. A member and advocate of cooperatives since 1982, she is a founder member of six cooperatives in the cultural, creative, press, IT and publishing fields. She is president of the Centro Studi Doc Foundation, where she studies the application of the cooperative model to different sectors of the economy and social issues. Chiara collaborates with Italian unions to study how to protect the dignity of work and she is the promoter of the first National Collective Labor Contract for show business cooperatives. She is also the founder and spokesperson of the “Table of Legality and Security in Show Business”, and part of “ShowNet”, a network of technician cooperatives.
