My research examines the Open Food Network (OFN) in France and the United States, focusing on scaling non-capitalist solutions in the food sector. Through ethnographic interviews, participatory observations, and comparative analysis, I explore questions of federation, policy frameworks, data interoperability, and universality. This research sheds light on the potential for alternative, transformative spaces to emerge and the role of the State in facilitating their expansion.
